This past year has been filled with many adventures. I spent 10 days in Israel and walked where Jesus walked. I went on a short term missions trip to the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. I was privileged to see a dear friend be baptized. God even allowed me to help further His Kingdom. I was beyond blessed to meet new people and create deeper friendships. If I had the chance to sit down and read the Bible with you, then you should know it was my deepest joy to do so.
God has moved in me so much this past year. He led me to forgive and even helped me to ask for forgiveness as well. God showed me how to make peace with parts of my past. He has even guided me through my difficulties in school. The biggest thing the Lord has done for me this past year was leading me to trust Him with my whole heart, especially the most broken and hurt parts.
Yes, God had his hand in everything. This past year was divinely planned, and I got to see some of those plans. This next year is a complete mystery to me. I will be graduating college, starting a two-month internship, and eventually a career. None of which do I have a solid grip on what I will be doing or where I will be. Nonetheless, I can firmly say that God has a solid grip on me.
2019 will be an adventure filled with surprises. My hopes are that I will be able to travel a little more, invest a little deeper into relationships, and continue trusting the Lord in all things and at all times. I may not be absolutely sure what is ahead of me. There may be some tough trials and even some thrilling joys. Through it all, I know as long as I am in step with the Lord, it will be good. I can not wait to see what my next adventure will be!
Beautiful!
